It is easier to believe than we think. It is easier to use the equal measure of faith God has given to each of us. If we base our understanding of how effective our faith is based on whether we see something quickly, this can be a problem and introduce doubt. This will immediately cancel the faith, the existence of the substance of things hoped for, that was being established right up to the moment you agreed with the doubtful thought.

Rooting out doubt, unbelief and fear means the result of our faith in something coming to pass will be assured if it is in line with God's Will. This is important if we are to be effective in the use of God's power when ministering to those who need healing, deliverance, salvation etc.
