When we follow the steps of Jesus, we are not walking in our own strength. Jesus went before us and prepared a way. This way we just follow Jesus and do not have to figure things out.
 
Jesus is the Door to Life. Short cuts will not help you get to Jesus. There are no other paths, but the narrow path to walk in the footsteps of the Lord. John chapter 10 verses 9 to 10 (Jesus’ speaking): 9 I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture. 10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
 11 I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep.
 
When we come to the Lord it is because we are searching to walk the right way in life. When you decide to choose Jesus you choose Life.
