This week we talk on the importance of praying for those in authority and high responsibility. The laws that govern our cities, regions and countries where we live can bring freedom or captivity to a population. How important it is for the Body of Christ to stand up and not only declare God’s Word over the land to subdue it (Genesis 1:28) but also to pray for the leaders that have been put in charge to govern. Whether we love them, like them, or loathe them and the decisions they make, these are souls that God has created, and God wants them saved and reconciled back to Him. How much more will the people of a land be blessed if it is ruled by righteousness and justice. Not praying for others in high places can open them up to being manipulated by evil and the demonic realm which only leads to bondage and captivity in all kinds of ways for the citizens.
