The Dwelling Place (4) - Your Identity In Christ (88) - May 8 2021

In John chapter 15, verses 1 to 4, we get to see the nurturing process of the True Vine (Jesus) and Vine-dresser (God the Father). We learn of the firm, yet loving role of the function of the True Vine and Vine-dresser. Both desire to give their sons (us believers) a firm foundation, food and sustenance for now and future seasons. It is like having a parent who disciplines, loves, and punishes, so a child grows up straight, strong, and with a solid direction. This process re-occurs and fortifies the substance of a child in Christ. Part of the growth of that child is to seek Jesus as The Way, The True Vine, in order to increase in the bearing of fruit.

This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Hebrews 12:27, John 15:1-4, Psalms 23:1-6, Hebrews 12:5-11, Matthew 7:8-11; Matthew 7:21-23.
